Corals Unlimited – Updated Auction Rules
1. All Bids Are Final
Placing a bid is a binding agreement to purchase. The highest bid at auction close wins the item.
2. Winner Notifications
Winners will receive an automated email with their invoice.
Tip: If you don’t see it, check your Spam or Promotions folder.
3. Payment Requirements
Payment must be completed within 48 hours of the auction ending.
Unpaid items may be offered to the next highest bidder. Repeated non-payment may result in account suspension.
4. Shipping & Local Pick-Up
• FedEx Overnight: flat $50 within the continental U.S.
• Local in-store pickup available at Corals Unlimited (Topsham, ME).
• Multiple auction wins ship together.
• Add-on corals/products from coralsunlimited.com may be included before finalizing your invoice.
5. Local Pick-Up Time Limit (NEW)
Winning auction items must be picked up within 2 weeks (14 days) of the auction close — no exceptions.
If items are not picked up within this time frame:
• You will be refunded 50% of the total invoice as a restocking fee.
• The corals will be returned to inventory or re-auctioned.
6. Accuracy of Contact Information
Buyers are responsible for maintaining a valid email and monitoring auction activity, invoices, and notifications.
7. Live Arrival Guarantee
Our standard live arrival guarantee applies. DOA claims must follow the instructions on our website.
8. Bidding Conduct
Shill bidding, bid manipulation, or any attempt to disrupt the auction process is prohibited and may result in account closure.
9. Account Standing
Failure to follow auction rules—including non-payment, late pickups, chargebacks, or other violations—may result in permanent removal from future auctions.
10. Terms Updates
Corals Unlimited may update these terms at any time. Participation in our auctions means you agree to the current rules.
